3 Day One Games Already Confirmed for December for Xbox Game Pass

Nov 22, 2022

By now, gamers are used to the suspense from Microsoft as they wait until the beginning of each month to reveal their highly anticipated list of games for their subscription service, Xbox Game Pass. The good news is that there’s always some information that leaks ahead of time regarding a couple games to be released that month. In this case, it’s no different, as three games have been confirmed for release while we wait for the official list to be released by Microsoft at the beginning of December.

Three completely brand new games are coming to the popular subscription service, and it’s looking quite good so far heading into Black Friday. Each of these games are going to launch in the first half of December, while subscribers wait for more news for releases in the latter half of the month. The list of confirmed games are as follows:

  • Hello Neighbor 2 (December 6th)
  • Chained Echoes (December 8th)
  • High on Life (December 13th)

The Hello Neighbor series is a horror series where players have to stay under the radar and covertly maneuver to avoid being spotted by their diabolical neighbor. The series has been popular with horror fans, and a bit more successful than originally predicted, but still nowhere near the caliber of top series’ across the industry. Regardless, it’s a good introductory game for December.

Next on the list is Chained Echoes, a sci-fi Japanese RPG where you can use magic and board your Mech to follow a diverse group of superheroes on their journey through Valandis, a war-torn land. The game has a very obvious Super Nintendo influence and has fairly high expectations. We will know in about three weeks what the Xbox community thinks of it.

Lastly, the most anticipated game of the bunch is High on Life, coming to Game Pass on December 13th. High on Life is a comedic, satirical FPS with details like talking guns and other bizarre details that is the beating heart of the creator, Justin Roiland. Roiland’s most notable achievement comes in the form of creating the cult classic Rick and Morty. As perhaps one of the greatest and unique cartoons, Rick and Morty’s following will likely have a vested interest in Roiland’s future endeavors, and that includes High on Life. This is one we can’t wait for.

Aside from these three games, Microsoft will be announcing more games for December for Game Pass, and also may be removing some, depending on specific details. But, they are guaranteed to add some more, we just won’t know for the next week and a half. It’s been a great year for Game Pass subscribers, that’s for sure. Microsoft is always on top of their services and they provide great value for members. There has been a unique selection of games so far this year through Game Pass for a variety of different genres, and as the holidays approach all eyes will be on the official list of released games for December 2022.
